Many climbers probably know of the
Planet Fear site; a comprehensive source of information for the UK climbing community. Browsing their site, I noticed that the British Independent Television company is planning to film a new summer Saturday night show with the working title ?Simply The Best?.
ITV are looking for men and women at the peak of their fitness to take part in the show and to represent their city in a series of obstacle courses, physical & mental games, telephone 0901 488 01 01 or e-mail contestant@itv.com
What particularly caught my eye in this news story is that the show is to be filmed in Jersey throughout the month of July. Jersey is an island of great variety and beauty, geographically closer to France than England with beautiful coastline, rocky coves, sand and surf beaches. Kevin Daly is an experienced walker who knows the island?s walks better than most and he organises
walking holidays around its coast, check out his ?Walking Jersey? site.
