Peaks and Valleys

A forum provided by the Activity Holidays Guide for Walkers, Climbers and anyone pursuing an outdoor activity on foot.

Sunday, June 13, 2004

Independent walkers in the UK will find Lou Johnson's Walking Britain site an invaluable
source of information. The site contains numerous, well documented walks including outline maps and gradings.

There are five walks that feature the splendid coastal views of Dorset, one of which includes Golden Cap, the highest cliff on the south coast of England and another which takes you to Durdle Door, a famous and instantly recognizable rock formation. The rocks and cliffs in this area are unstable, so no climbing I'm afraid but great walking.

Sorry, the site could not be found.
