A reminder about the annual speed sailing event (any craft but sure to feature some windsurfers) held each year near Weymouth on the UK's south coast and this year
Weymouth Speed Week will be held during 2nd - 8th October.
Weymouth has been selected as the venue for the 2012 Olympic sailing events, should London be chosen to host the Games and it has really been put on the map with the recent Olympic success of Britain's sailing team since several of the medal winners, including windsurfer Nick Dempsey, come from Weymouth.
