Auditions will be held in late Autumn 2004 or Spring 2005 in all EU countries for the 2005/2006 European Union Youth Orchestra.
It is an orchestra of talented and dedicated 14 to 24 year olds, from the member countries of the European Union working together under internationally renowned professors and conductors. The 140 players who make up the orchestra are selected each year from over 4,000 candidates, throughout the EU.
Now over 25 years old,
the orchestra performs each year to wide acclaim in major cities both in the European Union and throughout the world.
