The China Tibet Information Center has noted that there will be a lot of mountaineering activity in Tibet during 2005.
Amongst many expeditions, a Sino-Japan mountaineering team plans to scale Mount Everest in celebration of the
30th anniversary of the first woman to conquer the mountain and Lance Trumbull's
Everest Peace Project has also planned a climb.
