"Eurovision for Asia" at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Sunday, 23 January will feature a performance of Riverdance, the 7 minute interval piece from the 1994 Eurovision, which went on to become the world famous Riverdance show.
The Eurovision themed event will see six former Irish winners of the Eurovision Song Contest take to the stage: Dana, Linda Martin, Niamh Kavanagh, Eimear Quinn, Johnny Logan, Charlie McGettigan and Paul Harrington. They will be joined by stars of the Irish stage and screen for the 3 hour show. All performers, the venue and staff will be donating their services free of charge. The evening will be hosted by Mary Kennedy and Carrie Crowley.
Riverdance will be playing the Gaiety theatre, Dublin 8 June to 27 August 2005
The company returns to Radio City Music Hall, New York, for a very special limited engagement, March 10-17, 2005, celebrating its 10th anniversary.
