Wakestock 2005 takes place on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 July.
This is Europe's Largest Wakeboard Music Festival and looks like being a sell-out so buy tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Monster rock outfit
Hundred Reasons will take to the main stage on the Saturday.
There are two venues, Abersoch main beach which hosts the Wakestock Big Air comp on Friday 5.30 to 7.30 pm and Pwllheli Inner Marina which hosts the main wakebording events throughout the weekend, a perfect location for both riders and spectators, with good wind shelter to ensure flat water and a 500 meter promenade, allowing the spectators to be right next to the action. Boarders get a buzz, performing for the many thousands that line the promenade and this encourages going large, with style and tricks that wouldn't normally be attempted in an official structured competition. Furthermore, results are not announced until the prize giving takes place on the main stage, immediately before the headline band.
