Yes, Xmas comes early for the Australians. Real early or, as no doubt the Americans would claim, six months late!

Each year, there is a tradition in
Mt Buller, Australia;
Christmas Week.
1-5 August, 2005,it is a fun-filled week of festivities and celebrations for the whole family. The Village is decorated with wreaths, bells, bows, lights and Christmas trees. Carols can be heard in all the lodges and throughout the Village Square. There are special Christmas dinners, a fireworks display and of course, a flare run on Bourke St.
Mt Buller school children sing carols throughout the Village, Santa and his elves give out lollies and presents and everyone is assured a white Xmas.
Now you know where Santa takes his vacation.
