6th North Wales International Jazz Guitar Summer Festival runs from August 17-20, 2005 with tickets available from the North Wales Jazz Society,

Several venues around the city will play host to legendary musicians such as American guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli and Andy Summers, ex-member of the Police, who has been recording acclaimed jazz albums for the past 20 years.
His reputation is illustrated by a sellout concert at New York's Carnegie Hall, earlier in the year.
The North Wales International Jazz Guitar Summer School, runs concurrently with the festival. There are four tutor groups catering for all abilities; course tutors are Anthony Wilson, Corey Christiansen, Ned Boynton and Trefor Owen. In addition, for students on the course, there will be masterclasses from Andy Summers, and Bucky Pizzarelli plus a question and answer session with Bireli Lagrene.
