Fort William in the
Scottish Highlands will host the Finals of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup.
It is a first for the UK, the grand finale of the most prestigious and the most extreme competition in the world's mountain biking calendar. Having competed in Europe, North America and South America over the past six months, the 2005 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Champions of Downhill, Cross Country and 4-Cross (elite men and women), will be decided on the slopes of Aonach Mor, nestled in the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain's highest mountain.
