English National Ballet goes on tour in the autumn with an enchanted world of castles, curses, forests and fairies, in the
European Premiere of Kenneth MacMillan's production of Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty.
The ballet opens on 20 October, 2005, at The Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, and runs through to the 29 October. Then, during the month of November, the company moves on to Bristol, Oxford, Manchester and Liverpool, before they return to London for their Xmas season production of The Nutcracker.
Christopher Hampson and Gerald Scarfe's production of The Nutcracker has become a perennial favourite; Xmas would not be the same without the famous
'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy'. Playing at the Coliseum Theatre, London, 20 December 2005 to New Year's Day, January 2006.
