Andy Irons chasing ASP crown

ASP world tour heads to Florianopolis, Santa Catarina-Brazil, for the penultimate Foster's Men's WCT of 2005, Oct 31-Nov 9 and everyone is going to be fired up following the leaderboard changes after the Quiksilver Pro France and Andy Irons third Pro France victory which narrowed the gap between himself and leader Kelly Slater who crashed out in the quarter finals.

The top ten is now:

  • 1 Kelly Slater USA
  • 2 Andy Irons HAW
  • 3 Phillip MacDonald AUS
  • 4 Mick Fanning AUS
  • 5 Trent Munro AUS
  • 6 Taj Burrow AUS
  • 7 C.J. Hobgood USA
  • 8 Damien Hobgood USA
  • 9 Nathan Hedge AUS
  • 9 Cory Lopez USA

Andy Irons remains the only threat to Kelly Slater in the race to pick up the crown but just look at the Australian presence.

Some good video footage of the leaders on the Quiksilver Pro France site.
