Further to
my post last month, with one event left to run,
Kelly Slater clinched the world surfing championship crown in Brazil when his nearest rival Andy Irons failed to get past the quarter-finals.
Irons needed to finish at least third in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina-Brazil, to keep the title race alive. The final event is the
Pipeline Hawaii, 8-19 December 2005 and if you can't be there in person, this is another surfing event being
streamed live over the internet.
Expect some awesome video to keep you all glued to your monitors.
