Andy Irons (Haw) has just won the Pipeline Masters at North Shore, Oahu and with it the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing, 2005. Andy scored a perfect 10 with his first wave.
Kelly Slater lost out in the semis to Mick Fanning and Kalani Chapman.
Mick Fanning (Australia) lost out to Andy and just beat Andy's brother Bruce, who came in third. Other local man Kalani Chapman came in fourth.
The result means that Mick Fanning is also runner-up to Andy Irons for the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.
