Preparations are on track for the final dash to the Opening Ceremony of the
Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games in Australia, 15 to 26 March, 2006.
In addition to the sporting events, over 2,500 performing artists will stage Australia's largest ever free cultural festival during the period of the Games.
