The Grand Slam tennis season is about to kick off again with the
Australian Open starting in a few days time,
January 16 - 29, 2006, at Melbourne Park. World No.1 Roger Federer (Switzerland) and Lindsay Davenport (USA) top the men's and women's seedings; Andy Roddick is listed as men's number 2 and seeded 3 is Australian Lleyton Hewitt.
The Australian Open will be followed by the
French Open (Roland Garros) May 28 to June 11, 2006.
French speakers might prefer to go to the French page.
Wimbledon in the UK is scheduled for
June 26 to July 9, 2006 and the
US Open finishes the season at Flushing Meadows, New York on
August 28 - September 10, 2006.
