Every August, Chinese cultural groups from around the world compete in the annual Dragon Boat Races on Ala Moana Beach Park, south shore of Oahu, Hawaii (just west of the famous Waikiki beach area).
Teams paddle huge carved wooden boats along shore, in a race to capture their flag.
