As part of Festival Melbourne 2006 and the Commonwealth Games,
Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is running three events to showcase Victoria's fabulous food and wine.
The plaza of the Melbourne Museum is set to come alive with the
Victorian Producers' Market and then each night from the 20 ? 25 March it will echo with the rattle of pots and pans, as Melbourne's chefs go head to head in the ultimate cooking competition, the
Culinary Pro Am of the Commonwealth.
Top chefs including Raymond Capaldi (Scotland), George Calombaris (Cyprus) and Teage Ezard (Australia) will represent Commonwealth nations and lead their Commonwealth themed teams.
