2006 BKSA championships 

The first round of the pro-men's 2006 British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA)championships at Watergate Bay was won by Lewis Crathern, who over-wintered in Egypt. The women's pro-event was won by Jacinta Powell.

The amateurs' events saw Mark Connoly take victory in the men's event and Emma Rimmer win in the women's event; the junior competition was won by Dan Galimore.

Round 2 will be at Littlehampton, West Sussex, on the 5, 6 and 7 May, 2006
