The eighth
Isle of Wight Walking Festival is being held on 6th -21st May 2006. This annual May event is the UK's largest walking festival, which is not so surprising when you consider that the island boasts more than 500 miles of signposted footpaths and 30 miles of Heritage Coastline.
More than half of the Island is recognized as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
