The British Kitesurfing Association (BKSA) championship tour heads up to Troon in Scotland for round three, 25 - 27 August 2006; they should get more wind up there than they found in round two.
If you are attending the Edinburgh Festival, you can get across to the wetass action in a couple of hours.
Troon is probably best know for its golf course, which has often played host to the British Open.
