As predicted, the South Americans have been in blistering form on their home ground but the luck of the draw put the two remaining South Americans, Brazilian rookie Silvana Lima and former World Champion Sofia Mulanovich (PER), against each other in the fourth quarterfinal of the Billabong Girls Pro Brazil.
The same luck kept Australians, Jessi Miley-Dyer, Chelsea Georgeson and Layne Beachley apart, allowing all three to win through to the semis, which will likely run tomorrow with the final completing the day.
