From 1 December, 2006 through to 26 February, 2007, London's Canada Square Park, which is surrounded by Canary Wharf's famous towers, will be transformed into a winter wonderland with an outdoor ice rink. The park will be decked with holiday lights and have an ice-side cafe - the perfect perch to watch the activity from. It will be fully licensed and stocked with warming winter food. A viewing gallery is also planned and visitors to the park will enjoy festive music as they skate.
Open to the public seven days a week, the rink is going to be the ideal setting for office skating parties, family outings or a romantic skate with a date. You can book sessions on site but it is better to buy tickets in advance. Don't worry if you do not have any skates, high quality ice skates will be available in every size and included in the ticket price.
