The
Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year has just been announced for 2006, together with winners of numerous categories. There are some wonderful photographs on display at the UK's Natural History Museum in London, or you can browse all the winning, runner up and highly commended images from the 2006 competition, online.
Held annually, the competition aims to find the best wildlife pictures taken by photographers worldwide of all ages and across a wide range of subjects.
