Thousands of aviation enthusiasts have made their choices in Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) 'Greatest Aviation Movie of All Time' poll, and the winning film is 'Top Gun', the 1986 blockbuster staring Tom Cruise, who is an EAA member, Kelly McGillis, Tom Skerritt, Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards and several other celebrities, in a drama based at the U.S. Navy's 'Top Gun' fighter training school. The film will be screened during the EAA
AirVenture 2007,
which is billed as The World?s Greatest Aviation Celebration and EAA's yearly membership convention; it will be held July 23-29, 2007 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI, USA.
By the way, some great music accompanies the event. The 'Top Gun' soundtrack is in the worldwide top ten of all time, with songs like
