The
World Rafting Championships are held biennially by the International Rafting Federation, with teams from 42 member countries around the world competing in three different disciplines, Sprint, Slalom and Downriver. Each team consists of 6-members with an optional reserve member.

From June 27 to July 2, 2007, the 2007 World Rafting Championships are being held on the Naerinchon River in the mountainous region of Gangwon Province, east of Seoul, Korea.
