$1 Million, 10,000 Miles, 100 Hours, 50 Aircraft, touching all four corners of the United States
Dawn on August 3rd , 2007, sees the start of the
Great Air Race in Georgia. It will be the longest air race in US history and 100 participants will be competing for $1 Million in cash and prizes. The race will last 14 days, cover 10,000 miles and require 100 hours of flight time, all filmed by Papillon Productions for a reality television series. The planes finish in Florida on August 17, 2007.
