The
International Christmas Market in Geneva, which this year, will take place November 24, through December 24, 2007, is a novel idea whereby the Christmas Market is organized in the shape of a village. Each of the 34 cottages in the village, located at the Place de Fusterie, represents a different country and offers visitors their national Christmas specialities. Figurines, decorations, culinary delights and so much more.
During the weekend of December 16, thousands of candles will be used to illuminate important places, bridges and buildings in more than 20 cities located throughout Switzerland.
